Chad Boyd is a decorated United States Marine Corps veteran who served with distinction during Operation Iraqi Freedom, including participation in the historic Battle of Fallujah. Recipient of the Combat Action Ribbon and multiple commendations, his military service forged an enduring foundation of discipline, teamwork, and servant leadership—principles guided by a steadfast faith that continues to shape his personal and professional life.
Following his service, Chad earned his degree from the Louisiana State University system in 2007 and launched his career in the energy sector. He began with Halliburton Energy Services, where he spent five years gaining technical and operational expertise before advancing to Vice President of Business Development at Icenhower Oil & Gas. In 2017, Chad co- founded Caddo Oilfield Construction, transforming a six-person startup into a leading regional contractor with nearly 200 employees serving clients across the southern United States.
Built on family values and a hands-on work ethic—symbolized by his daughter Georgia helping place the first company logos on Caddo’s trucks—Chad has cultivated a culture rooted in integrity, accountability, and community involvement. Under his leadership, Caddo has earned recognition for quality workmanship, employee development, and charitable engagement throughout the region.
Beyond Caddo, Chad’s entrepreneurial vision extends across multiple ventures. He serves as Managing Member of Mach Interests, a diversified investment firm; Co- Founder of Forward Energy, focused on strategic energy investments; Founder of Roan Energy, a 360-acre high-fence ranch dedicated to wildlife conservation and mineral asset management; and Founder of Caddo Property Holdings, a real-estate investment firm specializing in long-term value development across Texas and the southern United States.
In public service, Chad is completing his third year on the Argyle Town Council, where he advocates for responsible growth, infrastructure enhancement, and preservation of small-town character. He also volunteers as President of the Tailgate Committee for Liberty Christian School’s dance team, reflecting his dedication to youth and community enrichment.
Above all, Chad’s greatest accomplishment is his role as a devoted single father to his daughter Georgia—a straight-A freshman, National Junior Honor Society member, and competitive dancer. Together, they share a love of travel, the outdoors, and wildlife conservation. Guided by faith and fortified by experience, Chad embodies battle-tested leadership, principled governance, and a service-driven mindset—qualities he brings to every board and mission he serves.
