Town Hall Meeting Regarding Crawford Road Construction

 
ARGYLE, TEXAS (January 30, 2020) – The Town of Argyle will hold a Town Hall public forum to share information regarding planned construction on Crawford Road.
 
The meeting will take place on February 13, 2020 in Argyle Town Hall (308 Denton St., Argyle, TX 76226). Representatives from Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc. (TNP), will be available to answer questions from the public regarding the upcoming construction.
 
Improvements to Crawford Road will include the addition of left-turn lanes at key intersections, and repairs to the road surface. A roundabout will be built at the intersection of Crawford and John Paine Road to ease traffic congestion.
 
The estimated cost of this project, $3,463,600, will be split between Denton County, the City of Denton, and the Town of Argyle. Denton County agreed to contribute up to $2,263,600, the City of Denton is contributing $300,000 and the Town of Argyle will contribute up to $1,200,000. The Town of Argyle will be responsible for the management of the project, as well as, the maintenance going forward.
 
All residents and businesses of Argyle and Denton are welcome, and those most affected by the planned construction of Crawford Road are encouraged to attend.
