I want all of the citizens to know that the Argyle Police Department is made up of the finest men and women I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Know that as you go about your daily business and even as you sleep they always stand ready in the gap to protect and serve you. Stay safe."

A reception in Chief Tackett’s honor will be held at Argyle Town Hall on Wednesday, March 21st at 4:00 p.m.  Captain Temple Cottle, an 18 year veteran of the department, has been named as Interim Police Chief.
