Citation Options

All requests should be made on or before the initial appearance date listed on the citation. Requests and communication regarding citations must come from the defendant or an attorney representing the defendant.

 Contacting the Court

  • Please allow 3-4 business days from the violation date before contacting or appearing in court.

  • The law requires you to make an appearance on or before the initial appearance date of the citation.

  • You have the right to retain an attorney however it is not required.

  • A phone call will not constitute an appearance.

All juveniles and minors with specific offenses must appear in court. Please visit the Juveniles and Minors section for more information.

Anyone charged with family violence must make a plea in court as required by law. A court hearing notice will be mailed to the address listed on the citation. Please contact the court if your address has changed.
